Ruth Chepng'etich is a Kenyan long-distance runner. She holds the world record in the marathon with a time of 2.09:56, set at the 2024 Chicago Marathon. Chepng'etich also won a gold medal in the event at the 2019 World Athletics Championships. Her fastest half marathon time is 1.04:02, which she ran in Istanbul in April 2021.
