“Chariots of Fire” is an instrumental song written for the award-winning 1981 film of the same name. This 20-minute track forms the whole Side 2 of the film’s original soundtrack album. A shortened version, “Titles”, was the version that reached the top of the pop charts in the spring of 1982. Due to the song’s usage in the film behind slow-motion footage of runners, this song has been used many times over several decades in parody for running scenes to add comedic effect. Case in point….
