About
“Kiss Kiss” was released as the second single from Chris' sophomore album following “Wall to Wall.” This track marks the first collaboration between Chris and Tallahassee sanger, T-Pain. The duo later collaborated on 2008’s “Freeze” and “Shawty Got Loose” and would collaborate numerous times over the years. The song is playful, with Chris and T-Pain singing about gaining a girl’s affection, and Chris also takes a page out of T-Pain’s book and uses auto-tune in parts. The track opens with a skit-like introduction from T-Pain’s “radio station,” Nappy Boy Radio. The accompanying music video tells the story of jock Chris and nerd Chris fighting for a girl, with nerd Chris coming out on top. “Kiss Kiss” debuted at #100 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, and later peaked at #1. The song also earned a Grammy nomination in 2008.
