About

“One Bad Apple” is a song from The Osmonds' 1970 album “Osmonds.” It was written by George Jackson, who originally had The Jackson 5 in mind when he was writing the song. According to Donny Osmond, Michael Jackson told him that The Jackson 5 almost recorded the song first, but they recorded “ABC” instead. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 in February of 1971, staying on the chart for five weeks and even peaked at #6 on Billboard’s Hot Soul Singles chart. It was also certified Gold.
