About
“Ruby Tuesday” was first released in 1967 as the B-side of “Let’s Spend the Night Together”, the lead single to promote Between the Buttons. While it was first released as the B-side to “Let’s Spend the Night Together”, thanks to that song’s frank sexuality, most American radio stations opted to play this song instead of the A-side. As a result, “Ruby Tuesday” became the Rolling Stones' fourth #1 hit in America. It remains one of the group’s most popular songs.
