On “What’s My Name?” Drake and Rihanna trade romantic bars about their lovers. In the music video, they play the love interests for each other. The collaboration was originally planned to be a remix and the solo version to be on Loud but it made the final cut. Ester Dean originally wrote a demo for the song before it was sent to Rihanna to be re-recorded for her album. The song became an instant hit, eventually giving Rih her eighth number-one and Drake his first. It’s also certified 6x platinum by the RIAA.
