The English translation was done by James L. A. Burrell and Philip Moeller during 1923-1924. It is a comedy in three acts with a single setting, and fifteen speaking parts. The action of the play takes place over three days time in late July 1906. The story concerns an idealistic young man, led on by a sophisticated married woman. The adapted title is Italian idiom for a mirage, which sometimes occur on the Puszta where the story takes place, and an allusion to the nature of the romantic encounter. Wiki link
