The 1899 Cincinnati football team was an American football team that represented the University of Cincinnati as an independent during the 1899 college football season. Led by first-year head coach Daniel A. Reed, the team compiled a record of 5–2. Howard Nieman served as the team captain. Cincinnati played its home games at Chester Park in Cincinnati. Wiki link
