Khafre or Chephren was an ancient Egyptian monarch who was the fourth king of the Fourth Dynasty, during the earlier half of the Old Kingdom period. He was son of the king Khufu, and succeeded his brother Djedefre to the throne. 2612 BC – 2530 BC; died at about 81. Alive at the same time as Khufu. Wiki link
