☄️ Draconids · peak Oct 7 · ~10/hr · 🌑 moon 3%
Thursday, October 6, 1904
– October 10, 1904
All day
Peak: October 7, 1904, around 18:00 UTC — up to about 10 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 3% lit: a dark sky: a good year for the Draconids. Meteors seem to come from Draco; the debris is from Comet Giacobini–Zinner. Usually quiet, but it has stormed, when the Earth crossed fresh trails of its comet.
