☄️ Draconids · peak Oct 8 · ~10/hr · 🌑 moon 1%
Sunday, October 6, 1907
– October 10, 1907
All day
Peak: October 8, 1907, around 13:00 UTC — up to about 10 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 1% lit: a dark sky: a good year for the Draconids. Meteors seem to come from Draco; the debris is from Comet Giacobini–Zinner. Usually quiet, but it has stormed, when the Earth crossed fresh trails of its comet.
