☄️ Draconids · peak Oct 8 · ~10/hr · 🌘 moon 32%

Wednesday, October 6, 1909 – October 10, 1909 All day

Peak: October 8, 1909, around 01:00 UTC — up to about 10 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 32% lit: some moonlight, which will hide the fainter meteors. Meteors seem to come from Draco; the debris is from Comet Giacobini–Zinner. Usually quiet, but it has stormed, when the Earth crossed fresh trails of its comet.
