☄️ Draconids · peak Oct 8 · ~10/hr · 🌑 moon 4%

Saturday, October 6, 1923 – October 10, 1923 All day

Peak: October 8, 1923, around 15:00 UTC — up to about 10 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 4% lit: a dark sky: a good year for the Draconids. Meteors seem to come from Draco; the debris is from Comet Giacobini–Zinner. Usually quiet, but it has stormed, when the Earth crossed fresh trails of its comet.
