☄️ Draconids · peak Oct 8 · ~10/hr · 🌖 moon 65%
Tuesday, October 6, 1925
– October 10, 1925
All day
Peak: October 8, 1925, around 04:00 UTC — up to about 10 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 65% lit: a bright Moon, which will wash out all but the brightest meteors. Meteors seem to come from Draco; the debris is from Comet Giacobini–Zinner. Usually quiet, but it has stormed, when the Earth crossed fresh trails of its comet.
