☄️ Draconids · peak Oct 8 · ~10/hr · 🌑 moon 2%

Wednesday, October 6, 1926 – October 10, 1926 All day

Peak: October 8, 1926, around 10:00 UTC — up to about 10 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 2% lit: a dark sky: a good year for the Draconids. Meteors seem to come from Draco; the debris is from Comet Giacobini–Zinner. Usually quiet, but it has stormed, when the Earth crossed fresh trails of its comet.
