☄️ Draconids · peak Oct 9 · ~10/hr · 🌒 moon 29%
Thursday, October 6, 2089
– October 10, 2089
All day
Peak: October 9, 2089, around 04:00 UTC — up to about 10 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 29% lit: some moonlight, which will hide the fainter meteors. Meteors seem to come from Draco; the debris is from Comet Giacobini–Zinner. Usually quiet, but it has stormed, when the Earth crossed fresh trails of its comet.
