☄️ Draconids · peak Oct 9 · ~10/hr · 🌔 moon 81%

Thursday, October 6, 2095 – October 10, 2095 All day

Peak: October 9, 2095, around 17:00 UTC — up to about 10 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 81% lit: a bright Moon, which will wash out all but the brightest meteors. Meteors seem to come from Draco; the debris is from Comet Giacobini–Zinner. Usually quiet, but it has stormed, when the Earth crossed fresh trails of its comet.
