☄️ Draconids · peak Oct 10 · ~10/hr · 🌓 moon 46%
Wednesday, October 6, 2100
– October 10, 2100
All day
Peak: October 10, 2100, around 00:00 UTC — up to about 10 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 46% lit: some moonlight, which will hide the fainter meteors. Meteors seem to come from Draco; the debris is from Comet Giacobini–Zinner. Usually quiet, but it has stormed, when the Earth crossed fresh trails of its comet.
