– January 12, 1930
All day
Peak: January 3, 1930, around 06:00 UTC — up to about 80 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 9% lit: a dark sky: a good year for the Quadrantids. Meteors seem to come from Boötes; the debris is from asteroid 2003 EH1. A sharp peak of only a few hours, best seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
