– January 12, 2079
All day
Peak: January 4, 2079, around 11:00 UTC — up to about 80 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 1% lit: a dark sky: a good year for the Quadrantids. Meteors seem to come from Boötes; the debris is from asteroid 2003 EH1. A sharp peak of only a few hours, best seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
