☄️ Quadrantids · peak Jan 3 · ~80/hr · 🌘 moon 33%

Saturday, December 28, 2080 – January 12, 2081 All day

Peak: January 3, 2081, around 23:00 UTC — up to about 80 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 33% lit: some moonlight, which will hide the fainter meteors. Meteors seem to come from Boötes; the debris is from asteroid 2003 EH1. A sharp peak of only a few hours, best seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
