☄️ Quadrantids · peak Jan 4 · ~80/hr · 🌗 moon 63%

Friday, December 28, 2096 – January 12, 2097 All day

Peak: January 4, 2097, around 02:00 UTC — up to about 80 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 63% lit: a bright Moon, which will wash out all but the brightest meteors. Meteors seem to come from Boötes; the debris is from asteroid 2003 EH1. A sharp peak of only a few hours, best seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
