☄️ Quadrantids · peak Jan 4 · ~80/hr · 🌔 moon 92%

Sunday, December 28, 2098 – January 12, 2099 All day

Peak: January 4, 2099, around 14:00 UTC — up to about 80 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 92% lit: a bright Moon, which will wash out all but the brightest meteors. Meteors seem to come from Boötes; the debris is from asteroid 2003 EH1. A sharp peak of only a few hours, best seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
