☄️ Quadrantids · peak Jan 4 · ~80/hr · 🌗 moon 35%

Monday, December 28, 2099 – January 12, 2100 All day

Peak: January 4, 2100, around 20:00 UTC — up to about 80 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 35% lit: some moonlight, which will hide the fainter meteors. Meteors seem to come from Boötes; the debris is from asteroid 2003 EH1. A sharp peak of only a few hours, best seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
