– December 10, 1927
All day
Peak: November 7, 1927, around 09:00 UTC — up to about 5 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 95% lit: a bright Moon, which will wash out all but the brightest meteors. Meteors seem to come from Taurus; the debris is from Comet Encke. Few but slow and bright, known for fireballs — the Southern and Northern Taurids together.
