☄️ Taurids · peak Nov 6 · ~5/hr · 🌖 moon 82%

Sunday, September 10, 1933 – December 10, 1933 All day

Peak: November 6, 1933, around 22:00 UTC — up to about 5 meteors an hour under a dark sky. The Moon will be 82% lit: a bright Moon, which will wash out all but the brightest meteors. Meteors seem to come from Taurus; the debris is from Comet Encke. Few but slow and bright, known for fireballs — the Southern and Northern Taurids together.
