The women's singles figure skating competition at the 2026 Winter Olympics was held on 17 and 19 February 2026 at the Milano Ice Skating Arena in Milan, Italy, and featured 29 skaters from 22 nations. Alysa Liu of the United States won the gold medal, while Kaori Sakamoto and Ami Nakai, both of Japan, won the silver and bronze medals, respectively. This was Liu's second gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics, having earlier been part of the American team that won the figure skating team event. Liu was the first American to win an Olympic gold medal in individual figure skating since 2002. This was also the first time since 2014 that the gold medal was not won by a skater from Russia. Sakamoto's silver medal was her second at the 2026 Olympics, as she had also been part of the Japanese team that finished second in the team event.
