Fiji's general election, set for February 6, 2027. Last: 14 Dec 2022. In power: People's Alliance, NFP, SODELPA. General elections are due to be held in Fiji by 6 February 2027 to elect the 55 members of parliament. Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and his coalition government, comprising the People's Alliance, the National Federation Party (NFP) and the Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA), came to power after the 2022 general election, which ended the 16-year tenure of Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama and his two-term FijiFirst government. FijiFirst remained the largest party in parliament; however, after a period of turmoil, the party was deregistered in 2024. A bloc of its former members, including Opposition Leader Inia Seruiratu, formed the People First Party (PFP) in 2025, while another faction established the One Nation party.
