The Sun passes in front of Ophiuchus from November 28, 1900 at 22:05 UTC — 18.6° of its path, about 19 days. Ophiuchus, the Serpent-Bearer, isn't one of astrology's twelve signs, though the Sun spends longer in front of it than in front of Scorpius. Astrology calls this time Sagittarius.
