The Sun enters Leo (the Lion, a fire sign) on July 22, 2087 at 12:51 UTC — ecliptic longitude 120°. These are the signs of the tropical zodiac, measured from the March equinox. Precession has moved them about one constellation since they were named: the Sun is in front of Cancer for much of Leo.
