The Sun enters Leo (the Lion, a fire sign) on July 21, 2088 at 18:40 UTC — ecliptic longitude 120°. These are the signs of the tropical zodiac, measured from the March equinox. Precession has moved them about one constellation since they were named: the Sun is in front of Cancer for much of Leo.
