The Sun enters Libra (the Scales, a air sign) on September 22, 2073 at 09:15 UTC — ecliptic longitude 180°. These are the signs of the tropical zodiac, measured from the March equinox. Precession has moved them about one constellation since they were named: the Sun is in front of Virgo for much of Libra.
